Applesauce Cake

Ingredients

1/4 Teaspoons Salt
1 7/8 Teaspoons Cloves
1 7/8 Cups Nuts
2 7/8 Cups Flour
1 7/8 Cups Sugar
1/2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoons Nutmeg
2 7/8 Teaspoons Cinnamon
1 7/8 Cups Raisins
1 7/8 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 7/8 Egg
1/2 Cups Shortening
1 7/8 Cups Applesauce

Instructions

Dissolve soda in a little warm water, stir in applesauce until if foams. Cream together sugar and shortening. Add applesauce mix to creamed mix blend well. Add flour, baking powder, salt, fruit, and spices. Blend well and bake in greased and floured loaf pans or one large loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
