Chocolate Chip Cookies
In a mixer cream the two sticks of butter until smooth and fluffy. Add in the brown and granulated sugar and mix completely with butter. Add in each egg one at a time mixing well between eggs. Next add the salt, baking soda, and vanilla mixing well. Remove from mixer and fold in the flour by hand until the mixture is a firm dough. Finally add in the chocolate chips folding in by hand. Optional: add in 1 1/2 cups of chopped nuts of choice. Once dough is finished spread onto plastic wrap and cover completely. Put dough into fridge for at least one hour; however over night works best. Once dough is chilled spoon onto a cookie sheet desired sized balls and bake in a preheated 350 degree over for approximately 9 minutes. |
