Instructions
Mix flour, shortening, and sugar with a pastry blender to a crumbly consistency. Press in bottom of an 8x8x2 inch square pan. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Mix eggs, flour, baking powder, brown sugar, vanilla, coconut, chopped nuts until blended. Spread over warm bottom layer. Bake 25-30 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool and cut into bars.
